This event is one of a series of events sponsored by the KCDW to introduce the community to local businesses and support local charitable organizations while mixing with old and new friends. Shop local! It brings more funds to the local community than shopping big-box stores.
The event was free but cash donations were accepted for donation to Hesed House in Aurora. Hesed House provides assistance to the poor and homeless (including families with children) in the Fox Valley area. Hesed House, Inc., a non-profit organization, serves southern Kane County and all of Kendall County, and is Kendall County’s only shelter.
