Womyn for Womyn to Stage Performance
Sugar Grove – Waubonsee Community College’s Womyn for Womyn group staged a performance of “The Vagina Monologues” on Friday, March 6 at 8 p.m. in the Auditorium of the college’s Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive.

The production was sponsored by V-Day 2009, a global movement to end violence against women and girls by raising funds and awareness. Over the past decade, V-Day events have raised more than $60 million for women’s causes around the world.

The proceeds from Waubonsee’s performance benefited VDay.org, Mutual Ground of Aurora and TriCity Family Services of Geneva.
